Build Your Audience Through Videos

To quickly build an audience, the best thing you can do is to utilize the platforms where your audience is already hanging out. By utilizing platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube, you can easily scale your audience. With the right strategy and process, you don’t need to create unique content for each platform.

 

Create your video content for your YouTube channel first. You can share these videos on your Facebook and Instagram pages. Keep in mind, that video is king in social media, but on Facebook and Instagram, your videos will appear in the newsfeed and then disappear.

 

On YouTube, everything is search-based. Your videos can be found every day by new people who are struggling with something that you solve.

 

Create content that will get viewers

 

“How To” videos are what you should concentrate on creating. You don’t need to explain to them ‘why’ they should do something. They already know why. The first thing you need to explain in your video is what they are going to learn and then get right to the content. Be concise and end your video with a call-to-action, such as a free white paper, if they join your email list.

 

You can film a month’s worth of content in one day. This way it’s done in one sitting and you can post it and schedule it for the month. Your social networks are working for you even when you’re not in the office!

 

Build your email list

 

Your video is helping people fix a problem. This is the best time to offer them a deeper dive into a solution by offering a giveaway. Your giveaway should be on the same topic as your video. Offer them a worksheet or a more intensive training video. Be sure to tell your viewers how to get this free gift and why they need it. Put a link to the sign-up area in your video description so they don’t miss it. You can also talk about it in your video and include a link in the video.

 

The goal of all social media is to drive traffic to your website. Creating an email list allows you to contact your fans with special offers, inform them about new products, and even send them your newsletter. You’ll stay top of mind with them and they’ll appreciate all the great information you’ll be sharing with them.
